The Internet of things (IoT) is the networking of physical devices through the Internet enabling them to share
data. The data is often gathered by sensors and stored in SQL databases, keeping the end-user informed about the
status of the connected devices. Often the devices are connected in a manner that allow them to be controlled
remotely by control panels that can be accessed anywhere with a computer, tablet, or smart phone.
Some may ask whether there is a future in IoT, but we think it is the new frontier of the twenty-first century.
It uncharted territory, and an emerging market. We think that the world is demanding it, and that IoT devices will
eventually become common place around the home and industry. Experts estimate that IoT will consist of almost
50 billion objects by 2020. The Internet of Things: How the Next Evolution of the Internet Is
Changing Everything
Here at IoT Systems we are dedicated to developing products that inform and make life better. All of the devices
that we develop will meet or exceed the following criteria:
1) Must connect to the internet by establishing a secure WiFi Connection.
2) Stores data in a SQL database that can be accessed remotely anywhere with a computer, tablet, or smart phone.
3) Provides the end-user with an online control panel that will either display data about the
device, or will allow the end user to control the device remotely.
4) Will send text message or email notifications to the end user to either warn or advise that a particular condition
exists at a remote location.
Be sure to check out the Products Page for a list of products that are currently
for sale, or are in the development stage.
Here at IoT Systems, we distribute our products through a network of authorized dealers, that install and service
our products in your area. We do this to ensure that our end users have a good customer experience with our products,
and to provide outstanding customer service. We also tend to develop products that are carefully integrated with existing
infrastructure, that sometimes require special knowledge, training or licensing to install.
Be sure to see the Dealers Page for a list of Authorized Dealers in your area
and the products they support. We are cognizant that our dealer network is a work in progress, so don't be afraid to
Contact Us if you are an end user interested in purchasing one of our products. Who
knows perhaps you might become a dealer yourself.
